BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - Law enforcement officers say two male suspects cut a hole in the roof of a building housing a medical marijuana dispensary and stole about $12,000 worth of marijuana plants.

Butte-Silver Bow officers say video surveillance shows the two used a ladder to climb onto the roof of Evergreen Medical at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Police dispatch logged alarms at the business at 2:24 a.m. and again at 3:56 a.m. Undersheriff George Skuletich tells The Montana Standard (https://bit.ly/27QRUfZ ) that responding officers found the building dark and the doors locked. The owners did not respond to the alarms.

The surveillance video showed the suspects descending the ladder at 4:07 a.m. with a backpack and a large garbage bag.

Officers found two saw blades on the roof.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Butte-Silver Bow law enforcement.
