MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a person was killed and three others were injured in a crash after a high speed chase in Montgomery County.

Sheriff Derrick Cunningham told multiple news outlets that deputies were called about a possible attempted burglary Monday morning and began pursuing a Jaguar carrying four suspects at more than 100 mph.

Authorities say the Jaguar hit another car and swerved into a ditch near Highway 231. One of the suspects was killed in the crash and three others were injured. Officials say charges are pending.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesman Steve Jarrett tells WSFA-TV no one was injured in the other vehicle.
