CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a woman who died after a rafting accident on the Arkansas River.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says 60-year-old Debra Brymer, of Nashua, Iowa, was on a trip with her husband and grandson when she fell out of a commercial raft near Canon City on Sunday. Coroner Randy Keller tells the Canon City Daily Record (https://goo.gl/xrF0BI) he thinks an autopsy will show that she went into cardiac arrest or drowned.

Brymer was pronounced dead at the scene after staff for the rafting company called 911 to report she was not breathing.

Mike Kissack, president of the Arkansas River Outfitters Association, says the river is flowing moderately. He adds that it usually is at its highest toward the end of May or beginning of June.
