NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police say four people have been injured in a drive-by shooting in New Orleans.

Police spokesman Officer Juan Barnes says the shooting happened at Apple and Monroe streets just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Barnes said in an emailed statement that a white vehicle drove up and opened fire on several victims who were outside a lounge.

One male victim had multiple gunshot wounds. Two other males were shot one, and one female was shot in the leg.

No further details were immediately available.
