LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police at Los Angeles International Airport say a call about a disturbance on a flight from London turned out to be a passenger accidentally setting off an alarm by leaning on an emergency exit lever.

Airport police Officer Rob Pedregon says a passenger accidentally leaned on the lever toward the end of the flight, setting off the alarm on Thursday afternoon.

When investigators met the Norwegian Airlines plane, the airline also reported that a passenger got into a verbal fight with a flight attendant who refused to continue serving the man alcohol. The fight happened three hours into the flight.

Both men were interviewed and investigators determined there had been no crime.

Pedregon says “it all turned out to be a big nothing.”
