WINDSOR MILL, Md. (AP) - A longtime Howard County gymnastics instructor has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Baltimore County Police say 56-year-old Paul Daniel Bollinger was arrested Wednesday for possession and distribution of child pornography.

Detectives served a search warrant on Bollinger’s Windsor Mill home. Police say they found more than 30,000 images and videos of child pornography on a computer and other devices.

Police added that their investigation has indicated that Bollinger is sexually attracted to children and writes stories about having sex with children.

Investigators found no evidence that Bollinger produced child pornography.

Bollinger had been a gymnastics coach at Top Flight Gymnastics in Columbia and had been coaching gymnastics for 25 years. Top Flight did not immediately respond to media’s request for comment.

It’s unclear if Bollinger has an attorney.
