OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A northeast Nebraska man has pleaded not guilty to allegations that he stole around $15,000 from a casino in Winnebago.

The Sioux City (Iowa) Journal reports (https://bit.ly/22qx03n ) that 19-year-old Mark Hannan entered his plea Monday in U.S. District Court in Omaha. He’s charged with theft by an employee of a gaming establishment on Indian lands.

Court documents say that from Nov. 1 through Feb. 15, Hannan stole the money while working at the Native Star Casino, which is owned and operated by the Winnebago Indian Tribe of Nebraska.
