BLAIR, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have been looking for an angler missing since a canoe overturned on a lake south of Blair in eastern Nebraska.

Omaha television station KETV (https://bit.ly/25nGiSZ ) reports that two men were fishing on Lake Arrowhead Dam early Thursday morning when a storm caught them on the water. One of them made it to safety on shore.

Rescuers searched in vain during the dark and decided to stop until dawn broke. A spokesman for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office didn’t immediately return a call from The Associated Press.
