LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Police say a woman pulled from a stolen vehicle after it crashed in Lincoln has died.

Lincoln police say 23-year-old Tewau Blackeyes was pronounced dead around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at a hospital. She’d been there since ramming into a tree early Sunday morning.

A man told police he’d left his sport utility vehicle running outside a convenience store and found Blackeyes inside when he returned. She sped off, but the SUV was located a few minutes later, after it went out of control and crashed. Blackeyes was found gravely injured inside.
