Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department: Woman fatally shot

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Bernalillo County authorities say an Albuquerque-area woman was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting.

Sheriff’s Deputy Felicia Romero says 18-year-old Aliyah Garcia died at a hospital after deputies found her with a gunshot wound Thursday night.

Romero says the investigation is in its preliminary stages and that additional information is not immediately available.
