PRESTON, Pa. (AP) - A coroner has identified three summer camp workers who died when their speeding van crashed into a northeastern Pennsylvania lake.

The Wayne County coroner says the victims are 23-year-old Ana Rojas Lopez; 22-year-old Diego Rivera Medrano; and 21-year-old Ariel Jersam Galaviz Alvarez, all of Mexico.

Authorities have said the driver of the van is one of the dead victims, and that two others in the van escaped after being injured in the crash just after midnight Thursday in Lake Como, near the Pocono Mountains.

Authorities haven’t said which dead victim was driving in northeast Pennsylvania, but they believe that person may have been drinking and speeding.

The trio were seasonal workers at Camp Shoshanim (sho-shuh-NEEM’) in Lakewood.

Camp officials say the workers used a camp van without authorization, and that they’re cooperating with investigators.
