HOWELL, Mich. (AP) - A 51-year-old man accused of making harassing phone calls to a woman living in Livingston County who was his teacher has pleaded guilty.

The Livingston Daily Press & Argus of Howell (https://bit.ly/25lDjam ) reported Thursday that Steven Kremski was sentenced this month to five years’ probation and 110 days in jail, the latter of which he has served already. He pleaded guilty to stalking and malicious use of a telecommunications device.

The charging document says Kremski repeatedly harassed the woman, who was his sixth-grade teacher, between 2011 and the day of his arrest earlier this year by making calls meant to frighten, terrorize or annoy her.

Kremski was ordered to get substance abuse treatment and counseling.
