JESSUP, Md. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a worker at a concrete company in Jessup.

Howard County police said in a statement that police and fire and rescue services were called to Hanson Concrete Products early Friday for a report of an industrial accident.

Police say officers found an unresponsive man trapped in a piece of heavy machinery and he died at the scene.

Police say the man’s name is not being released, pending notification of next of kin.

County police and the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Agency are investigating.
