LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Visitors who use Interstate 80 to travel to Eugene T. Mahoney and Platte River state parks will encounter road construction at exit 426 this summer.

The projected construction dates are from May 31 through Oct. 17. Drivers should consider alternate routes to avoid the restricted overpass.

The project will include both directions of Nebraska Highway 66 between 274th Street and E. Rock Creek Road. It will include a lane closure on the interstate overpass with an 11-foot width restriction.

A park entry permit is required for each vehicle entering these parks.
