FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (AP) - Two Framingham men are facing assault charges after police say two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle.

The Metro West Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1NUQc6F) 49-year-old Glenn Marshall and 22-year-old Saleek Marshall were arrested Friday.

The men are each charged with simple assault and battery and aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The men were arrested following a crash on Grant Street involving two vehicles. Police say two pedestrians were hit and taken to area hospitals. Their conditions weren’t immediately available.

Witnesses told police that one vehicle hit a pedestrian before the vehicle’s occupants got out of the car and pistol-whipped the victim.

It’s unclear whether the men have lawyers who could comment on their behalf.

A man who answered the phone at the men’s residence hung up.
