BOSTON (AP) - Passengers and crew members have been evacuated from a boat that ran aground off Georges Island in Boston Harbor.

The Coast Guard says it learned the Majesty, a Boston Harbor Cruises vessel, became stuck around 7 p.m. Saturday. There were 152 people aboard, including 137 passengers. No one was injured.

Petty Officer Andrew Barresi says five boats operated by the Coast Guard, state police, state environmental police and Massachusetts Port Authority picked up the passengers and most of the crew and transferred them to a larger vessel about 90 minutes later. They’re being taken back to Boston.

Five crew members are staying on board the Majesty until a plan is developed to refloat it.

A message left for Boston Harbor Cruises wasn’t immediately returned.
