REXBURG, Idaho (AP) - Firefighters in eastern Idaho say a man was badly burned in an explosion at a plant nursery.

The Post Register (https://bit.ly/1qQ5s9T ) reports that the unidentified Rexburg man was experienced non-life threatening injuries Friday morning and was in surgery at a local hospital later that day.

According to a news release, the man was using a hand grinder on a tool clamped to a vice. Sparks from the grinder are suspected to have ignited the explosion that forces several windows to be shattered and blew a door off its hinges. However, officials are still investigation what fueled the explosion.

Richard Damarjian, owner of the nursery, says he doesn’t know what could have caused the explosion. He added that the nursery does not have gasoline in it.
