PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Woonsocket man has pleaded no contest to sexually and physically assaulting multiple children.

Attorney General Peter Kilmartin says Juan Silva was sentenced Friday to 10 years behind bars followed by 25 years of probation under the terms of a plea agreement.

Silva pleaded no contest to first-degree sexual assault, second-degree child molestation and second-degree child abuse.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victims.

Prosecutors say the 37-year-old Silva sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl, molested an 11-year-old girl and physically assaulted a 9-year-old boy on three separate occasions. The victims were known to Silva.
