PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix man has been indicted for allegedly soliciting an underage girl over social media for sexually exploitative images.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said Friday that a state grand jury indicted 55-year-old Danny Lee Wallace on eight felony charges including computer tampering, aggravated luring and sexual exploitation of a minor.

Police arrested Wallace last week following an investigation by a state task force that focuses on Internet-related crimes involving children.

Wallace is accused of using a fake identity to message the victim through a social media app since last December.

He also allegedly sent the victim pornographic images while asking for sex.

Police say Wallace was found in possession of exploitive images from the victim.

It was not immediately known if Wallace had an attorney.
