JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) - Police in Janesville have identified the body of a man who apparently jumped from a bridge into the Rock River.

The Janesville Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1qSAJsH ) police have confirmed the body is that of James Brieske. An autopsy revealed no foul play.

A fisherman said he saw a man leap into the river from a down Janesville bridge on Monday. Brieske’s family reported him missing on Wednesday after no one in the family had seen him since Monday. Firefighters found the body on Thursday morning.

Brieske’s family issued a statement saying he struggled with mental health issues all his adult life.
