SAN DIEGO (AP) - Three dozen people have been displaced by a fire in an apartment complex in San Diego.

Fire-Rescue Department spokesman Lee Swanson tells The San Diego Union-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1TGwiJz ) that an electrical fire broke out in one unit Friday night and spread to the attic shared by four of the 14 units in the Midway District complex.

The fire was put out in 20 minutes but all residents were displaced because gas, electricity and water had to be shut off to the entire complex. There were no injuries.
