BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Members of the military and veterans can get into any state park in North Dakota for free on Monday, which is Memorial Day.

The state Parks and Recreation Department says the free admittance is to recognize the contributions of soldiers to the country.

The department says it’s a busy weekend at most state parks, with events and activities planned for the unofficial start of summer.
