NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Police are identifying a man who was fatally shot in Norfolk over the weekend.

Police say the man shot Sunday on Johnson Avenue is 41-year-old Kenneth Britt.

Police say they were called to the 800 block of Johnson Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they found Britt suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police did not say what may have led to the shooting.
