SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol says four people have died in an accident on Interstate 24.

Media outlets report the crash involved an overturned westbound vehicle Saturday in Smyrna.

Highway Patrol Sgt. Travis Plotzer says the vehicle crossed into the median, struck a sign post and concrete barrier before landing on its roof.

The victims died at the scene. Their names and hometowns weren’t immediately released.
