WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Police say they have charged a man with murder in the shooting of another man outside a Winston-Salem strip club.

Police said in a news release that 40-year-old Sierras Cobb was taken into custody Sunday morning after a four-day investigation.

Authorities say Cobb shot 41-year-old Eric Pegues several times in the parking lot of the Paper Moon Gentleman’s Club as it closed early Wednesday morning.

Police had said there was no evidence Pegues argued or fought with anyone before he was shot, but investigators also didn’t think his killing was random.

Investigators didn’t give a motive for the shooting after Cobb’s arrest.

It was not known if Cobb had a lawyer.
