CHECOTAH, Okla. (AP) - A Checotah man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 69 in McIntosh County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 52-year-old John Tanner was dead at the scene of the Saturday crash.

An OHP report says Tanner was southbound on the Highway 60 on-ramp to Interstate 40 when the sport utility vehicle he was driving went off the roadway and rolled three times.

The report says a passenger in the SUV was not injured and that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
