LITTLETON, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire homicide investigators say one person has died of multiple gunshot wounds at a Littleton home.

Assistant Attorney General Geoff Ward says the shooting happened at about 10:30 Friday night at a home on West Main Street. The victim’s name has not been released and officials would not say whether the victim lived at the property.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1TGwSaf ) that crime scene investigators spent several hours gathering evidence at the scene on Saturday.

Ward said there are no concerns that the public is in danger.

Residents at the building where the shooting took place, which appears to have four apartments, were allowed to leave their units.

The investigation is continuing.
