DAGSBORO, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a motorcyclist is dead after a crash near Dagsboro.

State Police say it happened around 11 pm. Saturday. State Police say a pregnant Pennsylvania woman was driving a 2008 Nissan Xterra eastbound on Vines Creek Road when for unknown reasons she drifted onto the shoulder and struck a motorcyclist who was stopped there.

State Police say the driver of the motorcycle, 33-year-old Lucas M. Miller of West Lawn, Pennsylvania, was thrown to the ground and died at a hospital.

State Police say the driver of the Nissan, who is eight months pregnant, was taken to a hospital for observation. State Police say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash and no charges have been filed.
