SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police are seeking a person of interest in after a man was found shot to death inside a car in Cottonwood Heights.

KSL-TV of Salt Lake City reports (https://bit.ly/20Q6ejn) that investigators are looking for 31-year-old Alejandro Guardado.

Police believe he was driving the car that was carrying 31-year-old Mauricio Martinez at the time he was shot.

Sgt. Ryan Shosted says Martinez’s body was found Friday morning at a Mountain America Credit Union by construction workers who saw the car in the parking lot and called police.

Police say Martinez was likely shot somewhere else and left in the parking lot.

Shosted also believes the bank was not part of the crime.

Police are also looking for a 2005-2010 Chrysler 300 that is blue or black.
