ASHLAND, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire state police say they clocked a Massachusetts motorcyclist driving at 128 mph on Interstate 93 in Ashland.

Authorities say when Trooper Sean McCarthy stopped 36-year-old Sean Reardon of Dorchester, Massachusetts, just after 2 p.m. on Saturday, he was found to be operating on a motorcycle learner’s permit.

Reardon is charged with reckless operation and is due to appear in Plymouth District Court on July 28.

No phone listing for Reardon could be found. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
