ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The Latest on the shooting of an armed man at an Albuquerque home (all times local):

11:50 a.m.

Police say an armed man has died after he was shot during a standoff with officers at an Albuquerque home.

Police spokeswoman Celina Espinoza says officers were called Saturday night after reports of a possibly intoxicated person wielding a gun.

They located 58-year-old Dennis Humphrey, who allegedly made numerous threats at them with a high-powered gun.

Officers fired several rounds after Humphrey retreated to a garage, turned the lights out and pointed the weapon at them.

He later died at a hospital.

8:50 a.m.

Albuquerque police say a man was critically wounded by officers responding to a domestic violence call.

Police spokesman Fred Duran says the incident occurred late Saturday in the area of Goodrich Avenue and Montgomery.

Duran says officers who arrived at the scene were confronted by a male subject who was considered a threat.

The man was shot and transported to a hospital.

He remains in critical condition.

Police did not say how many officers fired their weapons or the nature of the threat against them.

No officers were injured.
