SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say five people were shot in Sacramento in a drive by shooting that left a man in critical condition.

The Sacramento Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1UpSbzk) four men and one woman were wounded Monday after shots were fired from a car.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Tony Turnbull says it is unclear whether there was more than one shooter.

He says deputies found three people wounded at the scene in the 3900 block of 44th Street in south Sacramento. Two others were at a hospital.

Turnbull says it’s unclear if the shooting was gang related.
