ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - State troopers are getting three new mobile command vehicles for upstate New York.

New York State Police officials say the trucks will be used as command centers for emergency responses and special events in western and central New York and the North Country.

A fourth existing truck has been upgraded and will cover the Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island.

The trucks contain a conference room, communications equipment and computer workstations.

The vehicles cost about $350,000 each and were funded by a federal grant.
