PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Fire crews have brought under control a large blaze at an American Legion post in northeast Philadelphia on Memorial Day.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in the Frankford neighborhood at about 2:45 p.m. Monday.

Multiple alarms were struck as more equipment was sent to fight the flames.

The fire department said the blaze was reported under control about two hours after it was first reported.

There were no reports of injuries.
