FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Fargo police have arrested a man they say tried to rob a convenience store.

Authorities say the 26-year-old man walked into a Holiday Station about 12:45 p.m. Sunday and demanded money. The clerk refused and the unarmed man fled, but officers tracked him down and arrested him less than an hour later.

The man was being held on a charge of robbery by strong-armed tactics. Formal charges were pending.

No one was hurt in the incident.
