CHESTERFIELD, Va. (AP) - Police say a drunk driver struck several cars and the side of a house in Chesterfield this weekend.

Television station WWBT-TV (https://bit.ly/1OYCHxW ) reports it happened Saturday night. Police say 29-year-old Edward Reid was driving under the influence when he rammed into several cars and the side of a house on Sherwood Forest Drive. Police say the car Reid was driving didn’t break through the wall but did damage parts of the home. Police say Reid took off and was later arrested.

Police say he is now charged with a DUI, hit and run and a misdemeanor drug possession charge.
