BASOM, N.Y. (AP) - State police say no one was injured when an intoxicated woman drove her vehicle into a store near an Indian reservation in western New York.

Troopers say the 20-year-old woman from Medina (meh-DYE’-nuh) crashed around 9 a.m. Sunday into the Two Eagles Smokeshop in the Genesee County hamlet of Basom, near the Tuscarora Indian Reservation 30 miles northeast of Buffalo.

Police say the woman failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed off the road on a curve, slamming into the building and coming to rest inside store. Troopers say the driver and a store employee both suffer minor injuries.

Troopers charged the woman with driving while intoxicated and issued tickets for traffic violations.
