GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A teenager was taken to a Grand Forks hospital after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool at an apartment complex.

Police say the 13-year-old girl was unconscious and not breathing when she was pulled from the bottom of the pool shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday. She was given CPR on the scene and began breathing on her own before she was taken to the hospital.

Police said Monday that the girl’s condition was not known.

Authorities say they’re investigating the incident as an accident.
