BROWNSON, Neb. (AP) - Two tornadoes have been spotted on the ground in the southern Panhandle of Nebraska.

The National Weather Service says trained spotters and Cheyenne County officials reported the tornadoes between 2 and 2:20 p.m. Monday, about two miles south of Brownson.

No injuries have been reported. Scottsbluff radio station KNEB reports (https://bit.ly/25yaj2q ) that one building was damaged.

The two initially have been classified as land spout tornadoes, which experts say usually are weaker and smaller than twisters that are associated with thunderstorm rotation.
