GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Pitt County sheriff’s deputies have arrested three men and charged them with murder for a shooting death earlier this week.

The sheriff’s office told local media outlets that officers were called to a home in the eastern part of the county shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies said two people had been wounded in a shooting. Twenty-eight-year-old Antonio Harris of Washington (North Carolina) died on the way to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Twenty-year-old Nicholas Gorham of Washington was treated and released from the hospital.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Christy Wallace says investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting.

Twenty-year-old Joseph Jackson Gibbs, 24-year-old Justin Emanule Whitley and 26-year-old Lecarlos Jermaine Anthony, all of Washington, have been charged with murder. It was not clear whether the men have attorneys yet.
