MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Montgomery police say they have arrested a man in connection with a traffic crash that killed a motorcyclist.

A statement from the Montgomery Police Department says 47-year-old Joel Slaton of Montgomery has been charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident. The statement says additional charges are anticipated.

Authorities say 57-year-old David Fail of Deatsville was riding a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle at the time of Sunday evening’s crash with a 1993 Buick Park Avenue. Fail died Monday at a hospital.

Slaton was being held on a $15,000 bond at the Montgomery County jail. Online jail records don’t indicate if he has an attorney.
