LEBANON, Ohio (AP) - Transportation authorities say nighttime motorists could encounter lane closures over the next two weeks on Interstate 71 in Warren County in southwest Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says there will be various closures nightly between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. from May 31 through June 9 as work continues on the Socialville-Foster Road bridge project in the Deerfield Township area northeast of Cincinnati.

Transportation officials plan a short full closure of southbound I-71 beginning at 12:01 a.m. EDT Wednesday, June 1, for equipment movement.

Police will help maintain traffic, and arrow boards and signs will alert motorists of closure plans.

Weather conditions could change the work plans.

The project includes a bridge widening and addition of a bike path.
