BOSTON (AP) - The average price of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has risen another 3 cents in the past week.

AAA Northeast reported Tuesday that self-serve, regular now costs an average of $2.28 per gallon.

That price is still 4 cents below the national average and 38 cents lower than the in-state price one year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.12 per gallon and as high as $2.59.
