GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) - A Glen Burnie man is dead after he was found unresponsive in a pool at his home.

Anne Arundel County Fire spokesman Capt. Russ Davies says the 63-year-old man was discovered in the pool Monday morning. Davies says the man is believed to have gone outside to clean his pool before he was found.

Officials are working to determine the cause of death.

Police say they are not releasing the man’s identity at this time.

Davies says it appears the man may have fallen and injured his head, noting that there was only about 1 foot of water in the deep end of the pool.

He says officials aren’t ruling out a drowning.
