CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police in Charlotte have arrested a man in the shooting death another man.

Police spokesman Keith Trietley said 26-year-old Michael Kevin Duncan is being charged with murder in the shooting about 7 p.m. Monday.

Two men told an emergency dispatcher that they were on their way to the hospital after being shot.

The victims arrived at Carolinas Medical Center-University, where staff also notified police.

Forty-six-year-old Darian Lavon Curry died shortly after he arrived at the hospital. There was no immediate word on the other victim’s name or condition.

Police do not think the shooting was a random act.
