BAY SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) - A company that makes septic equipment, oil field equipment and hydraulic cylinders is expanding its operation in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Hol-Mac Corp. will add 40 new jobs. The company is investing $5 million in the expansion.

The state job-creation agency, Mississippi Development Authority, is providing a $250,000 grant, with $200,000 of it going for equipment relocation and $50,000 for workforce training.

MDA says in a news release Tuesday that Hol-Mac is expanding because the company acquired a Colorado-based manufacturer of specialty truck carried forklifts. Hol-Mac’s hydraulic cylinder plant will be a supplier for the forklifts.

The company has three facilities in Bay Springs, one in Gulfport and one in Winona.
