NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (AP) - Mount Washington’s Auto Road and observatory are teaming up for a second summer for some visitors to board a van and get a tour of the road and the weather center.

Once on top, visitors can see the mountaintop weather station, the summit tower and an educational program presented by a meteorologist. They also can visit the Extreme Mount Washington museum.

The program is being offered on select dates running June through September.

Trips are scheduled to depart from the base of the Auto Road at 8 a.m. and return by 1:30 p.m. Space is limited to eight guests per trip. A ticket for a member of observatory is $129 and $199 for a non-member.
