CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Former Republican House member Jim Lawrence says he’s making a second bid for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.

Lawrence has been a three-term representative from Hudson. Democratic Rep. Annie Kuster currently holds the 2nd District seat.

In 2014, Lawrence came in third place in the GOP primary, behind Marilinda Garcia and Gary Lambert.

At least two other Republicans have announced they are running: State Rep. Jack Flanagan of Brookline and Casey Newell of Deerfield.

The filing period begins on Wednesday.
