LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas highway crews will close the exit ramp from southbound Interstate 430 to westbound Interstate 30 for construction work.

Crews will divert traffic during the overnight hours this week and next. The first set of closures will start Wednesday night and last from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday.

Next week, the exit will be closed Monday through Wednesday at the same time.

Ramp traffic will be diverted to the service road in front of a shopping area near the intersection and then directed back to the interstate beyond the Otter Creek interchange.

The closure only affects southbound traffic. Traffic heading to eastbound Interstate 30 will continue as normal.
