BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a 14-year-old girl remains in critical condition after two personal watercrafts collided on Shoals Creek during the holiday weekend.

The Times Daily (https://bit.ly/1P2j3Bb ) reports that Hannah Morris and another 14-year-old girl were on one watercraft Monday afternoon when the collision with another watercraft occurred.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling says Morris was flown to a hospital. She was later transferred to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Hospital spokesman Adam Kelley says Morris was in critical condition on Tuesday.

The two riders of the other watercraft weren’t injured. The other girl riding with Morris was treated and released at a local hospital.
